Toronto, Canada  - HazMat Management Magazine is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Brownfields Network (CBN). Starting with the August/September 2005 edition, HazMat will feature a special section on brownfields, the more than 30,000 contaminated or underutilized sites across Canada. The "Canadian Brownfields Chronicle" will include technical case studies on new and innovative remediation methods as well as analysis of legislation and policy regarding brownfield redevelopment. The articles will be written by leading experts in conjunction with HazMat's award-winning writers and editors.

"This builds on our previous coverage of contaminated sites cleanup and the emerging brownfields industry," says Connie Vitello, editor of HazMat. "Our readers will benefit from more in-depth, strategic information on how to navigate the complex terrain of brownfields redevelopment in Canada."

The Canadian Brownfields Chronicle will be the most comprehensive information product of its kind. It will appear in HazMat's  print publication, on the website, and in its weekly e-newsletter.
