| HazMat Dedicates Special Media Coverage to Brownfields |
|
"This builds on our previous coverage of contaminated sites cleanup and the emerging brownfields industry," says Connie Vitello, editor of HazMat. "Our readers will benefit from more in-depth, strategic information on how to navigate the complex terrain of brownfields redevelopment in Canada." The Canadian Brownfields Chronicle will be the most comprehensive information product of its kind. It will appear in HazMat's print publication, on the website, and in its weekly e-newsletter. "With more than 16 years as a leading environmental publication, HazMat Management Magazine will offer the CBN the opportunity to communicate brownfield issues, policies, and progress to a much broader audience. In addition, our members will be able to provide content to the Canadian Brownfields Chronicle regarding undustry updates and announcements," says Angus Ross, Chair of the CBN Advisory Panel. "This magazine is an ideal media partner for CBN." The CBN is a national network for brownfields practitioners and stakeholders. The mandate of the CBN is to raise awareness of the economic, environmental, and social benefits of redevelopment, and to transform the market through outreach and capacity-building initiatives.
