User Information
To improve your use of Brownfields.com, please be positive that
all information Brownfields.com has regarding you is completely
correct. Updating information is extremely simple. If your email
address changes, under NO circumstances should you re-register with
Brownfields.com. Retain your feedback and well-deserved reputation
by using the simple Change of Email form to change information.
If you already registered your second account, please send a notice
to Brownfields.com so that your accounts can be merged - please
note this is NOT standard, and is extremely time consuming, therefore
only ONE merge is allowed per user.
To alter your User ID or password, fill out the Change User ID
form or Change Password form. Your User ID will become a recognizable
attribute to other users. Keep in mind that adjusting your User
ID could threaten any previous relationships with other users. If
you forget your user password email Brownfields.com a notice and
we will email you your password. You must send the message from
the email address you have registered on Brownfields.com. To change
any other information, fill out the Change Your Information form
and update your information online.
Your User ID
User IDs are essentially nicknames to be used correspondingly with
a user's email address in the Brownfields.com community. A registered
user's email address is automatically the User ID unless otherwise
specified.
*User IDs cannot be altered more than one time in a 30-day period.
*You can view the User ID history of another user by searching
for their email or UserID.
Control of Your Password
You may not disclose your password to any third parties or share
it with any third parties. If, despite the foregoing, you lose control
of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personally
identifiable information and may be subject to legally binding actions
taken on your behalf.
Information We Collect
In our online registration form, we require you to provide us with
your full name, full street address, phone number, email address
and a password. You may provide us with a User ID; if you don’t,
we will use your email address as your User ID.
If your registration will be done by an email account provided
by a free email service, we require some additional information.
We use this credit card information to verify your name, address,
and other information. In the course of using our site, we automatically
track certain information about you. This information includes the
URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our site or
not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on our site
or not), what browser you are using, and your IP address. Many sites
automatically collect this information.
In addition, we use cookies on certain pages of our site. Among
other reasons, cookies allow you to enter your password less frequently
during a session. Cookies can also help us provide information which
is targeted to your interests. Cookies are stored on your hard drive,

the third party service provider may provide back information about
you to Brownfields.com.

or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about
your activities or postings on the site, we may collect such information
into a file specific to you.
What We Do With That Info
We do not sell your name or email address to anyone. We do on occasion
make announcements about the brownfields.com web site to you. We
also may make available for resale the ability to send messages
to selected users. Your email address is not given out, but you
may receive information about products and services from third-party
vendors.
Opt-In
By virtue of using the Brownfields.com web site and services, you
agree to receive occasional emails regarding our services and products,
or third-party services and products. This is known sometimes as
an 'Opt-In' program. Your email address will not be distributed.
